Edgmond 2019 Update Day 1 and 2

Day 1 - Monday 23rd September

What a fabulous first day we have had here at Edgmond Hall! We have all unpacked and have explored the grounds before a lovely lunch. During the afternoon, we tested our team skills with team building activities followed by fish/vegetarian fingers and chips.

We have so far spent most our time exploring our new surroundings and even got to use our torches when we went for a night walk with the teachers in the dark. After this, we enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate and by then it was time for bed!

We're all looking forward to a fun-filled day tomorrow!

Day 2 - Tuesday 24th September

Another amazing day despite the rainy weather! We've all experienced different activities today. We used our map reading skills to navigate around the local village and we even got to make our own apple juice from start to finish! We picked the apples from trees located in the grounds of Edgmond Hall and crushed them before pressing and then bottling it up. We even got to design our own bottle labels!

Tonight we enjoyed sausage and mash and are just about to get started with games night.

Everyone is already excited about what tomorrow has in store for us!
