Today started with a yummy breakfast of cereal and a choice of beans on toast or toast with jam. All of the children slept really well so we were set up for a brilliant day ahead.
After a quick free time play on the equipment, the children got back into their four groups. They were completing either their fencing, archery, animal feeding or blind line activities. The children had a fabulous time! For lunch time, the children had their choice of sandwich, crisps, fruit and a rice crispy cake.
The children then worked together for their orienteering task around the courtyard at Edgmond hall. They continued to show off their great teamwork and communication skills. It was great so see the children working together and problem solving. They also took part in a nature scavenger hunt around the grounds.
This evening, the children had sausages and mash for dinner, followed by a waffle and ice cream. They were then all able to visit the Edgmond gift shop to purchase items to take home, a lovely way to remember the great week we’ve all had.
It was soon time for a shower, film night and a hot chocolate before bed for the final time.
Tomorrow, the children will pack their belongings back into their suitcases before completing their memory rockets and diaries. After lunch tomorrow we will be setting off back home.
Well done to all of the children, it has been a brilliant week. Everyone has worked hard, shown resilience and respect. Great job year 3 & 4!
